A lot of literature is currently available on best practices concerning leakage control. However, there is no interactive system that can support water operators in choosing the leakage strategy most appropriate for their specific requirements. TILDE aims at filling in this technological gap through the development of the TILDE Decision Support Tool (DST).

The TILDE DST will operate in conjunction with a Best Practice Database that will be made available on-line, within the TILDE Water Portal. The Portal will include information on the methodologies and available technologies to detect, repair and control water losses.
