Co-ordinator of the TILDE project, SGI (www.sgi-spa.it) is an independent water engineering consultant based in Italy.

SGI currently employs over 100 staff and has its main office in the city of Padua, in Northern Italy, as well as subsidiaries in other cities throughout Italy.

SGI has operated in the water engineering sector since 1920 and in the last 20 years it has specialised in innovative water technologies. It is actively involved in European and international projects dealing with water supply, sanitation, water pollution and public private partnerships in the water sector.

As well, SGI has extensive experience in the implementation and coordination of projects sponsored by the European Commission under the RTD and LIFE Programs. In addition, to project coordination, SGI is the consultant to TILDE's Italian end-users.
