As the title of the project indicates, TILDE is a Tool for Integrated Leakage DEtection. TILDE is therefore made up of a set of discrete tools developed by different partners through the project.

When the project will be halfway, these tools will be assembled together into a TILDE "Integrated Tool" that will be tested at the 4 pilot areas of the project.

The individual tools developed in the first half of the project are:

  • TILDE DST - Decision Support Tool: software that takes the user through the various processes of managing and controlling leakage. SINTEF and WRc are the responsible partner for its development.

  • TILDE DMS - enables users to manage all leakage related data coming from flow, pressure and acoustic sensors. WRc is the responsible partner for its development.

  • TILDE Benchmarking and econometric tools - Software tools to aid in the comparison of performance or technical data, within or between companies (benchmarking) and to optimise investment (Econometric tools). SINTEF is the responsible partner for its development.

  • TILDE Database - Best practice database containing available methodologies and technologies to optimise leakage management in water supply networks. SGI is the responsible partner for its development.

  • TILDE Web Portal - On-line resource of information about best practices in leakage and water network management. The Portal will contain a database on Best Practice (TILDE database) and on manufacturers and service suppliers. It will also contain a section on the TILDE Project. . SGI is the responsible partner for its development.
